The Flip Razor™

At Darekt™, every product we design must meet four simple principles:

Useful - It must solve a real problem

Design - It must feel right in the hand and look right on the table without sacrificing functionality

Functional - It must function reliably, without sacrificing the design

Character - And it must offer a small, delightful moment of interaction — a tactile experience you enjoy

It started with a question:
Why can’t the tools we need be so beautifully designed that we never want to leave them behind?

For example:

What good is a razor if you don’t have it with you? And even if you do — what good is it without a mirror?

That’s where it began for us — solving a real problem.

But solving the problem in a form that felt more than practical — something you'd be happy to Every Day Carry not just because it works, but because it’s clean, refined, and almost sculptural in its simplicity.

Can a tool be both essential and aesthetic?

We believe it can — but we didn’t stop there.
Once the form was right and the function locked in, we asked:

What gives an object personality?
Delyan says: "As a designer, I’ve always drawn inspiration from the natural world — from the way every creature, every detail, seems thoughtfully created, where nothing is wasted and form follows purpose with quiet perfection." That’s the kind of design we strive for.

What makes you want to hold it, click it, flip it, again and again?

We added snappy mechanics. Tactile clicks. Subtle interactions that make it a pleasure to use, not just to own.

The Razor Just in Case™ is our first product in a growing line of compact, thoughtful tools. It features an integrated mirror and a keychain loop that doubles as a lock — simple, durable, and travel-ready.

We also have another design in the works: the Flip Razor — a more interactive, fidget-friendly concept with a satisfying flipping mechanism and bold shape. After the launch of the Razor Just in Case™, we’re excited to bring it to life.
